About us.

We are a small lake side business who's goal is to instruct and grow the sport of jet boarding on Deer Creek Reservoir. We take safety as our number one priority. Currently Johnny is our main guide and he is both CPR and first aid certified. We are licensed as an outfitter and livery operation and hold all the necessary permits to operate safely and legally at Deer Creek State Park.

FAQ

What is Jet boarding and how does it compare to other water board sports?

Jet boarding is a jet propelled electric surf board. Unlike E-foiling, jet boarding has you sitting right on the water like a paddle board. Speed is determined by a hand controller allowing its rider to go as slow or fast as they feel comfortable.

What is the learning curve like?

Most clients are up surfing within the first 30 minutes of their first ride no matter the skill level. This short learning curve is what makes this sport so fun to book as it allows you time to explore the lake and really get creative with how you ride.

What will my guided lesson look like when I book?

We will meet you at the Charleston Day Use area where you will find our Orange Jeep Renegade. From there we will suit you up with a life jacket and a wet suit if needed. We will go over general safety rules and regulations of the lake. Our guide, Johnny, then will follow you out on a kayak into the water as you learn the basics of steering while on your stomach. He will be there to help retrieve the board when you fall off and give you pointers as you learn. Once you get the hang of steering he will guide you to your knees and eventual standing position where you will be free to surf as you please.

What is the weight limit on the board?

The Radinn X-sport can support riders up to 285lbs or 129kg
